How many days for an ideal Disney world vacation?

I have been asked many times how many days are ideal for a Walt Disney World (WDW) vacation. The answer is complex because there is not a one size fits all approach to Disney vacations. When considering taking a WDW vacation the duration of your trip is one of the first things you tend to think of. In general, it is important to know there are four theme parks, two water parks and 25 hotels plus a giant shopping district Disney Springs. There is no way anyone can see everything WDW has to offer even if they stay a month. Understanding that right up front is the best. There is so much to see, to do and experience at WDW that you can go once a year for your entire life, and it would always be a different experience. Therefore, people the world over come to Disney multiple times in their lives. That in mind you know that when you go plan enough time to see what you want but remembering it may not happen that trip.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort

Where else in the world can you find a hotel that celebrates Americana from the 50’s to the 90’s? Absolutely no where except Walt Disney World! You will find this at the world-famous Pop Century Resort located in the EPCOT area of WDW. Lots of people that are fans of the Value category of resorts at WDW will tell you they like Pop Century the best. There are good reasons for this. Nostalgia will come flying in as soon as you enter this larger than life resort. You will find that the resort nods to catch phrases, toys, dance crazes, and fads that had their way of sweeping across America. One of my personal favorite things to see at this resort is the humongous (we are talking like almost three stories tall) Mickey phone, just like the one I had as a kid. Little kids, big kids, kids at heart all have fallen for this simple yet wild resort.

Disney’s All-Star Resorts

Disney’s All-Star Value Resorts

If you have booked into one of the three All-Star resorts that Disney has to offer get ready to be impressed in a purely Disney way. Larger than life characters, three story tall cowboy boots, an impressive giant jukebox, a humongous football helmet, are a few examples of the vivid decor at these three resorts. The resorts are Disney’s All-Star Movies, All-Star Music and All-Star Sports. The names of the resorts are a dead giveaway of their theme however, the detail in which Disney carries out these themes is nothing short of amazing. These three value resorts are in the section of Walt Disney World nearest Animal Kingdom. You can expect to pay between $119 and $266 per night at these whimsical value resorts. The higher price end tends to be for the priority rooms.

Disney Magic

Disney magic is everywhere these days. From the stuffed mickey to the majestic soaring height of Cinderella castle. Disney products and destinations evoke a feeling of euphoria mixed with childish anticipation. As an adult I can honestly say I have never grown out of the Disney mania. Why is that? How does an adult still hold onto the dreams of a young mermaid longing for a different life? I don’t know the exact answers to the questions but I can tell you for me it’s all about Walter Elias Disney himself. He was born on December-5-1901 the world seemed to changed that day. His dreams will never be forgotten, the man who demand perfection but was at ease while those around him strived for it. No one else in the world found the key to unlocking a child’s dreams with adults imagining right alongside them. Walt Disney is a man to be admired, loved, looked up to, a man with big dreams and a huge heart.  I look up to Walt Disney he never gave up, even in the face of adversity. He never let anyone or anything hold him back, he moved with grace, reverence, and passion for people.
